You should always make time for Girlfriend Getaways…

At what point in a child’s life does thier extreme, out of the ballpark, nearly impossible dream become a priority in our busy lives while also juggling other siblings, a job, finances, etc?

For Leela, it begins now. She wanted to go back to California to see her best friend Mia to celebrate thier birthdays together and that’s ALL she wanted. Just this last year we missed her favorite friend between move schedules by JUST one day and I didn’t want her have to experience that soul sadness again. I know I won’t always be able to make these crazy beautiful choices that I could this time, but for today, I could, so I did.

She has also requested breakfast at the Eiffel Tower, as well as 5 kittens, lol… so I fiqured I’m also teaching her making time for those you love should also always surpass animals & traveling. Anyhow, we spent 5 amazing days in San Diego & it was beyond beautiful to see her and her best friend light up with happiness! Every hour I kept thinking this was the best decision I could have made for her.

I hope she always knows her dreams are always reachable, her heart is huge, and her love is contagious and… I also hope that I always make a way for her ‘lil big dreams to come true…
